Material Handling

The La Marche model A70MD material handling battery charger product line utilizes microprocessor controlled SCR charging technology. The A70MD comes with a Vacuum Fluorescent Display (VFD) which is bright with clear contrast making them ideal for difficult lighting conditions. This charger features automatic AC line voltage compensation, current limiting and controlled I-E-I charging cycle. The I-E-I charge cycle provides constant current start charge rate followed by constant voltage and completing with constant current finish rate. The constant current finish rate can be terminated either by DV/DT, voltage limit or time to assure full and proper charge.

• Available in Many AC Voltage Ratings
• Microprocessor Controlled Technology
• Controlled I-E-I Charging Cycle
• VFD Display
• Programmable Entry of Battery AH Rating
• Smart DV/DT Termination
• Battery Equalize Switch

A = (1.15 X Ah / H) + L
  • A = DC output rating of charges
  • 1.15 = Efficiency factor to return 100% of amp hours removed from a lead acid battery.
  • 1.4 = Efficiency factor to return 100% of amp hours removed from a NiCad battery.
  • Ah = Battery amp hours (Removed)
  • H = Hour recharge time
  • L = Amp continuous load on system while recharging the battery
